The Villa

Relaxing Places to Gather

Comfortable living spaces

Rocca di Benano offers five welcoming bedrooms and four modern bathrooms within a medieval, walled village. Groups of up to 10 people—friends, couples traveling together, families—come to the villa to experience  authentic Italy together. The villa has plenty of space for both privacy and togetherness. In addition to the living and dining rooms, there’s a TV/game room and a terrace that is a popular spot for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Authentic Villa Renovated for Comfort

Five luxurious bedrooms and four beautiful, modern bathrooms

The house consists of four floors and each room has its own special charm that will make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. There are high-end beds and luxurious linens in the bedrooms and—just as important to our guests—modern plumbing in the recently renovated bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed, two have queen-size beds, and each of the other two bedrooms has two twin beds.

More than just a place to stay

Memories you'll treasure

After the day’s excursion, you can unwind on the beautiful terrace overlooking our neighbor Gino’s olive grove. Relax with a cool drink or see if Alex is free to grill your dinner for you. You can step down into history to the ancient, other-worldly cantina that is stocked for you with local wine, free of charge. Throughout the house, you’ll discover other vestiges of centuries past: original frescoes in the bathrooms, iron rings in walls of a bedroom that was once a stable, and a below-ground cistern. This place is something special!

What our guests say

About the villa

The villa has a wonderfully equipped kitchen for all your needs, and the beds are extremely luxurious and so comfortable. The wine room is something extra special and must be seen in person to really appreciate. I cannot say enough about how much I loved this villa.
– Cathy G., Naples, FL
The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, and the kitchen is well-stocked with high end appliances, staples, and spices. The living areas are comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful terrace sipping wine in the evening.
– Karen L., Cincinnati, OH
Though still medieval, your vacation home is modern and comfortable in all respects. You never lose the feeling of the storybook charm, even when walking into the modern kitchen and especially not when going down into the ancient wine cellar to retrieve a bottle (or more) of vino rosso.
– Roger H., Anderson Township, OH
This property blows all of the other rental properties out of the water, including time share properties offered by international hotel chains.
– Pete C., Madison, WI
